SUNDAY SERMON BY PASTOR RAJESH MATHEW, 4TH JANUARY, 2025 

Psalms 65:11 AMPC- "You crown the year with Your bounty and goodness, and the tracks of Your [chariot wheels] drip with fatness”” 

Psalms 65:11 – NLT- You crown the year with a bountiful harvest; even the hard pathways overflow with abundance 

• Even the hard pathways drip with abundance. There is abundance. The Lord will crown this year with a Bountiful harvest and blessing. 

God will not only crown this year but God will crown you. 

• Crowns are worn by kings and queens. 

Revelations 1:5-6- 5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who [a]loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, 6 and has made us [b]kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. 

• We are made Kings and Queens. You will be kings and queens by the crown of His anointing. 
• God is releasing this over his church, over his children with the Anointing of blessing as a crown upon you. 
• I have learnt two things from beggars- 1) when you give them something they will first smile and 2) then they will say thank you or nod their head in gratitude. • For all of the Lord’s loving kindness and blessing be grateful. Hope the believers of Jesus learn from beggars. 

May you have a smile on your face for all His loving kindness, all His love and blessing.

YOU CAN PROGRAM YOUR WORLD 

We usually program our lives in three ways: 

1. Verbal Programming 

• Even your thoughts, what you believe about yourself are shaped by the words that have been spoken over you. 
• If ten people keep telling you that you are useless, you will begin to walk like that. Your life gets programmed by the words spoken by others, and also by the words you speak about yourself. 
• But you can program your world according to the Word of God. 
• If you know that you are a king or a queen, you will speak and live accordingly. I am a royal priesthood, called out of darkness into His marvellous light. Speak this over your life, and get ready to reprogram your life.

2. Modelling- Somebody has modelled to you what you should be or what you should do. Always be careful who you model. Children growing up seeing fathers beat the mothers grow up thinking it is normal to beat up wives. That's why we need good role models in our lives. The best role model is Jesus Christ. Those who look to Him do not only
3. Sudden Emotional Impact- It is usually negative events. Before Sept 9/11 happened, the airport security was never so tight but after that. One person humiliated you and you feel you will always be humiliated always. Certain events in your life has changed the way you live and think. If you have been affected negatively by things spoken over your life or

certain negative events that changed you, the Holy Spirit will remove it out of your life. Psalms 65 says that He crowns this year with His goodness. 

We make Jesus our role model looking at His miracles. 

• One of the things that I wondered about is that Jesus was born a king, lived a king, died a king, was resurrected as king and will return on the clouds as king of kings. 

When people look at you, will you model Christ? THEY should see the kingliness in you. 

Luke 23:39-43-Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying, [a]“If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us.” 40 But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, “Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation? 41 And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong.” 42 Then he said [b]to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.” 43 And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.” 

• There were two robbers on the Cross and one of them saw Jesus as king on the Cross. Even on the Cross, Jesus showed Himself as King.

WHAT IS KINGLY BEHAVIOUR? HOW DO I SHOW FORTH ROYALTY WHEN I GO THROUGH THE CROSS? 

1. HE STAYED SILENT IN THE HARD PLACE 

Isaiah 53:7- He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth. 

• He was silent- most people on the Cross will be cursing. He was facing the most painful but not one unwholesome word proceeded from His mouth. People standing below were provoking Him. He never went to defend Himself. He shows us kingliness on the Cross. Silence is power. When you go through a hard place, be silent, don’t curse, don’t defend, don’t criticise, don’t react, don’t say negative. Instead when you praise, you are showing forth that you are of the kingly tribe of Jesus.

2. EVEN ROBBERS RECOGNISED HIM AS FULLY GOOD 

Luke 23:41- 41 And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong.” 

• One robber recognised that Jesus was pure, that there was no evil in Him. Interestingly, robbers often recognise people’s true nature very well—so much so that sometimes even the police use thieves to catch other thieves. 
• Once, a man who was in jail came to me for prayer. I asked him whether he was troubled by other inmates. He said no. His mother was a prayerful woman, and that influence helped him remain prayerful even in jail. Even the thugs and hardened prisoners could recognise that he was a good man, and they never bothered him. 
• In the same way, this particular robber recognised that Jesus was pure and good. He said, “We are terrible people, but this man has done nothing wrong.” 
• How good is the Lord—that even robber recognised who He truly was. 

3. HE STILL PRAYED TO THE FATHER 

Luke 23: 34- Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” And they divided His garments and cast lots. 

• Even there, Jesus prayed. On the Cross and in pain He still prayed. This year the Holy Spirit is saying that even in every hard place you will see God's blessing. If you call upon the Name of the Lord. 
• The robbers were talking to each other. But Jesus spoke to the father • Whatever may be the hard place you are going through, call on the Father’s Name. • Jesus is my role model. I am a king because My Father is a king

4. HE CARRIED OUT HIS DUTIES EVEN IN THE DIFFICULT MOMENT • In John 19, Jesus had almost lost one eye while he was beaten. His body id full of blood, only one eye is partially opened. Jesus is still doing His duty, He says “John this is your mother” 

Jesus is a role model. Not only when He walked on the earth but also on the Cross even in the hardest time of His life, He did what He was supposed to do. 

5. HIS AUTHORITY WAS REVEALED IN THE HARD PLACE 

Luke 23:44-44 Now it [a]was about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. And they divided His garments and cast lots.

• This was the moment that people began to understand that He is God. Nature also recognised The King do Kings. The Sun also was darkened. The robber is seeing this. • 2026- This year people who look at you and see the godly authority that He has given you. You will see God's unusual miracles through your life. People saw his authority.

Psalms 22:7-8- All those who see Me ridicule Me;

They [a]shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,

8“He [b]trusted in the LORD, let Him rescue Him;

Let Him deliver Him, since He delights in Him!”

• Even in the midst of those who mocked Him, Jesus worshipped the Father. • This year will be under a Kingly authority. Jesus is the best role model. You don’t need any other role model. Fall in love again with Jesus. Decide to follow after Jesus. • He is the King of Kings. He defeated death and was resurrected.

Victory means overwhelming success. Jesus is the victorious King. Not just one victory but an atmosphere of Victory. God will lift up your head and make you walk in overwhelming victory this year! 

1. Victory in Hebrew is Halaf. Means the anointing of unstoppable advance. Crown refers to an anointing. An anointing where nobody can stop you. 

What you start this year, you will finish. 

Zechariah 4:9- “The hands of Zerubbabel 

Have laid the foundation of this [a]temple; 

His hands shall also finish it.

Then you will know 

That the LORD of hosts has sent Me to you. 

• What you have started this year, you will finish. If you started a business this year, you will see the blessing. If you started a family life, you will experience the blessing of it, even if it has been going through a rough patch.
• We see that in two times in history the temple of God was being built. Zerubbabel LENT his hand to build the temple. Before that it was Solomon, David’s son who built the temple. David had given Solomon everything he needed to build the temple Wealth, Labour, connections etc. Other kings also came there to bless Solomon. But Zerubabbel had nothing in his hands but all he had was a voice of prophecy. He had no money, no connections, no help but the prophets had prophesied over him he stepped into the spirit of prophecy.
• God is saying --what you have started with your hands God will bring it to completion even if your hand is empty.
• The good work that God has begun in my life he Himself will bring it to completion. He will do it! Victorious king means halaf- unstoppable advance. 
• David did not lose one battle; he was not defeated because of Halaf, because of the anointing of unstoppable advance. 

Every battle you will face this year will have only one outcome- it's victory2. Halaf also means the anointing to pull down. 

2 Corinthians 10:4- For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4For the weapons of our warfare are not [a]carnal but mighty in God for pullingdown strongholds, 5casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself

against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

• We can pull down arguments, and everything exalting itself against the word of God, pull it down to obedience to God. No disease can stand against you. It can be pulled down. 

No power of the devil will be allowed to overpower you, it can pulled down by the power of God. He is crowing you with glory and honour 

Psalms 65:11- You crown the year with Your bounty and goodness, and the tracks of Your [chariot wheels] drip with fatness 

Blessing! Blessing! Blessing! 

In the kingdom of God, there is no neutral ground or grey area. Either you are in darkness or you are in light, either you are in heaven or in hell, you are either walking in life or in death. There is no middle ground. You need to choose.

Make a choice this year. Choose blessing. He crowns this year with Bountiful blessing! 

Isaiah 51:1-2- Listen to Me, you who [a]follow after righteousness,

You who seek the LORD:

Look to the rock from which you were hewn,

And to the hole of the pit from which you were dug.

2Look to Abraham your father,

And to Sarah who bore you;

For I called him alone,

And blessed him and increased him.

• God called him when he was a zero. Then GOD blessed him and increased him.

1 Peter 3:8-9-8Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be [a]courteous; 9 not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.

• God wants you to experience the blessing of God and not just see it, hear about it. It is not enough if you hear about an ice cream or read about it or know the chemical reaction that take space when you make ice cream, but you need to eat the ice cream! 

2026, you will experience the blessing in the name of Jesus. Past years you may have experience curses or defeat but this year you will experience blessing.

Isaiah 43:19- Behold, I will do a new thing,

Now it shall spring forth;

Shall you not know it?

I will even make a road in the wilderness

And rivers in the desert.

• 2025 is over. The pains and the struggles, pains, lack and disappointments are over. This is a new year. God will do new things. He is doing a new thing! 

Why did the Lord choose the Levites? 

Deuteronomy 10:8- 8 At that time the Lord [a]separated the tribe of Levi to bear the ark of the covenant of the Lord, to stand before the Lord to minister to Him and to bless in His name, to this day. 

In the Old Testament God set aside the Levites for the following three reasons: 1. To carry the ark- to carry the Panim presence of God. 

2. They should minister unto God- worship, prayer and giving 
3. To bless people in the Name of Jesus. 

• As a pastor these are the three things I focus on doing. To carry His presence, to serve and minster unto HIM and third, to bless people.

In 2026, may Psalms 65 be manifest in your life. 

HOW TO BLESS THE PEOPLE? 

Numbers 6:22-36- 22 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them: “The Lord bless you and keep you; 25 The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord [a]lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace. 

• This is how you bless. May the Lord bless you, keep you, make his face shine upon you and give you peace! 

Mark 10:16- 16 And He took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed them. 

• There will be unusual blessing upon the children this year. Lift up your children into the Hands of the Lord.
• One of the things I have observed about Jesus was that HE never ministered formally. He was informal and he was relaxed and casual. Disciples were strict and did not want to allow kids near Jesus but Jesus was not like that. 
• This year God will call those who will be casual and when you bless someone casually you will see God will move. 
• Say this- Lord use me just as I am! We think that we need to be very formal, talk very formally, use Greek words, No need of all that. You don’t even need a pulpit. You can just casually tell people that Jesus is good. In your office, tell your accountant that 10% of the profits belong to Jesus. In your school, tell people what God has done for you. You don’t have to be formal.

Luke 24- Jesus blessed the disciples. Jesus was programming their lives through His Word.

In Acts 1:9, the scripture says that the clouds came down and the cloud covered Jesus. You know why? Jesus kept on blessing even till he was taken up.

On the Cross, Jesus released the Blessing of Abraham. 

Galatians 3:13-14- 13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. 

The greatest blessing is that of the Holy Spirit.

Genesis 12- When God blessed Abraham He said I will bless you and I will make your name great. Abram became Abraham. 

1. Suprassidhan name- great names in a positive way
2. Kuprassidham name- great names in a negative way
3. Karthavilprassidhan name- great names who have been made great in God.

Those who have their name written in the Book of Life. In a way that the devils will recognize and say, I know Jesus, I know (your name). Your name, your company’s name and your business’s name will be made great! 

IT TOOK 5 CHAPTERS IN THE BIBLE TO MOVE FROM ABRAM TO ABRAHAM 

1. Genesis 12:4-4 So Abram departed as the LORD had spoken to him, and Lot went with him. And Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran- He took a step of faith. 
2. Genesis 13:14-14 And the LORD said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him:“Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are—northward, southward, eastward, and westward- Separated for God. 

• You need to get out of certain relationships. Any relationship that does not cause you to walk with God, keep a distance from those. No matter how beautiful that relationship looks, if it is taking you away from God, keep away.

3. Genesis 14- be a blessing to others. Five kings captured Lot, and Abraham went to battle against them with just 300 men, shepherds who were untrained and had never fought before. They had no prior experience, yet their very first battle was a

mighty victory. This is a prophecy for some of you. You may be holding the microphone in ministry or stepping onto the stage for the first time, but your first battle will be a great victory. Abraham not only defeated the five kings; he also helped five other kings reclaim victory for their lands. When you are already positioned to bless others, the nation itself is blessed. You are blessed to be a blessing. 

• We all want to be in the ‘Bless Me club’, Bless Me Pvt Ltd Company. But behind that blessing is a larger purpose. I will bless others also in that blessing. 
• I would have preached at least more than 100 or more sermons last year. I have not received a single thank you for it. That shows that I am from the Bless m club. • God blessed you, so that you can be a blessing to your neighbours, to your friends, to your family, to your church. Do good to somebody this year. 

4. Genesis 15- Abraham entered into a covenant with God. 
5. Genesis 16- In this chapter certain things are taking place in his home that cannot even be spoken of in Public. Here was Sarah asking her husband to take Hagar and then she changes her mind and casts Hagar out!

• Family life needs a balance. If either of the spouse keeps changing their stance or is unpredictable, put up with it. Balance things out. Though Sarah was unpredictable, she later became a woman of faith. If you balance and stand in prayer, God can touch your partner. 

In Genesis 17th chapter, Abram becomes Abraham- The Exalted Father to the Father of Multitudes. 

This is a year where God will bless everything that concerns you!
